4 Local Storage

The Application utilizes on-device local storage mechanisms (such as Android SharedPreferences) to maintain your state across learning sessions. This locally stored data includes:

• Curriculum Progress: Completed lessons, chapters, vocabulary terms, and quiz records.
• Practice Stats: Matching pair scores, flashcard review decks, and daily streak counts.
• User Preferences: Audio playback speed, voice feedback toggles, and romanization display settings.

This information remains entirely sandboxed within the Application's private storage directory on your device. It is never transmitted across the network or shared with external servers.

5 Offline Functionality

Learn Korean for Beginners is designed to function primarily offline. All core lessons, audio files, quizzes, and vocabulary databases are bundled directly within the application package and are available without an active internet connection.

An internet connection is only needed in specific standard operating scenarios:

• Downloading application updates and new content releases via the Google Play Store.
• Opening external links, such as viewing this Privacy Policy in your web browser.

6 Analytics

The current version of Learn Korean for Beginners does not implement third-party analytics SDKs, session recording tools, behavioral tracking mechanisms, or telemetry frameworks. We do not track or profile your application usage habits.

7 Advertising

The current version of the Application does not display third-party advertisements, banner ads, interstitial commercials, or sponsored promotional content. We do not integrate ad networks, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID).

8 Permissions

The Application does not require or request sensitive device permissions for normal operation.

The Application explicitly does NOT request access to sensitive hardware or data APIs, including:

• Camera: No camera access requested.
• Microphone: No microphone or audio recording access requested.
• Contacts: No access to your address book or contacts.
• Location: No GPS, coarse, or fine location access requested.
• SMS / Phone: No access to SMS messages, call logs, or telephony features.

The Application integrates only the official system services essential for Android app distribution:

• Google Play Store: For application distribution, installation, and software update management.

Learn Korean for Beginners is intended for general audiences aged 13 years and older.

The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. Because the Application does not collect personally identifiable information from any user, we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. 11 Data Security

We prioritize the security of your information. Data is stored within the application's private storage provided by the Android operating system, keeping your study progress and settings protected from unauthorized access by other applications.

We encourage users to protect their physical devices with screen locks and standard device security measures.

12 Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not operate remote databases or user accounts, we do not retain your personal data on external servers.

All local learning data is retained on your device for as long as the Application remains installed. You can permanently erase all locally stored data at any time by:

• Clearing the app storage via Android Settings → Apps → Learn Korean for Beginners → Storage → Clear Data, or
• Uninstalling the Application from your device.

13 User Rights

Since the application does not collect or store personal information on our servers, most privacy requests can be fulfilled directly by clearing the application's local data in device settings or uninstalling the application.

All study progress and preferences remain entirely under your direct control on your physical device.

14 Future Updates

If future updates to Learn Korean for Beginners introduce features that change how user information is processed (such as optional cloud backup, synchronized user accounts, opt-in analytics, or advertising), this Privacy Policy will be revised accordingly before such features are released.
